Tonight we showed Maddy how to brush her teeth for the first time! Although she is already 17 months she only has 3 teeth- two on the bottom and one on the top so we didn't start until now. We let her sit on the counter and Daddy showed her how to brush. She wasn't sure about the toothbrush at first but then began to smile! She thought it was funny! So next we let her try on her own. She pretty much just played with it in her mouth but what can you expect from a 17 month old? Then I showed her how to run the water over the toothbrush and this was her favorite part, she wanted to put in in the water then in her mouth, and then repeat over and over! Gosh she's getting so big!
